Antique cedar wood Duck Hunting boat JH Perrine Builder Barnegat Bay NJ rustic

  
This is an authentic Barnegat Bay Sneak Box built by the famous builder J. Perrine in Barnegat Bay New Jersey. Original metal tag intact (see photo). This boat is made from New Jersey Cedar Wood from the swamps and was operated by a single duck hunter. It comes from the era when market hunting for ducks was still allowed and they provided ducks to N. The boat is around 100 years old or older. It seems mostly complete for the purposes of duplicating a facsimile. If someone wanted to make an exact replica, they could from this. Originally constructed with square nails and brass marine screws. It is plank and rib constructed.

I have added modern screws to hold it together. The mast, boom, rudder centerboard, and tiller are included. This boat could also be used for rustic and vintage hunting décor for a store, restaurant, Lodge, etc. Measures approx 12'8 long, it has been stored outside.
