Vintage NJ Hollow Brant Goose Decoy - Barnegat Bay Point Pleasant style with glass eyes This hollow Brant Goose decoy is a fine example of a working decoy along the New Jersey shore line from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. It has been masterfully carved in the Barnegat Bay or Point Pleasant style and is presumed to be attributed to the likes of Henry Grant or Capt. The original lead weight has been removed and replaced with a cast iron piece. The neck has a crack (see photos) but is still held firmly in place by the wooden dowel that runs from the head to the body.
